Biography

The Hon. Kerri M. Foley is a judge for the Galveston County Court at Law No. 2 in Texas.
Over the course of her judicial career, Foley has presided as a judge for the Galveston County Court at Law No. 3 (2013 to 2014) and the League City Municipal Court (2003 to 2013). She has also served as a magistrate for the Galveston County Magistrate Court as well as an associate judge for the Kemah Municipal Court, the Webster Municipal Court, and the League City Municipal Court.
Foley earned a J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1993.
After graduating from law school, Foley began her legal career as assistant general counsel at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Shortly after, she was selected to join the Galveston County District Attorneys Office, serving as an assistant district attorney until 2000. She spent the next decade working as an attorney in private practice.
