The Hon. Kenneth A. Szyszkowski is a judge for the Lackawanna City Court in the Eighth Judicial District of New York. He was elected to the bench in 2017.
Szyszkowski earned a B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1992. After graduating from university, he became a firefighter with the City of Lackawanna Fire Department. Then, in 1994, he joined the City of Buffalo Police Department, where he served as a police lieutenant for the next twenty years.
Szyszkowski completed a J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 2011. He then began his legal career as an associate at Andrews, Bernstein, Maranto & Nicotra. He practiced with the firm until 2017, when he was elected to the Lackawanna City Court.
