The Hon. Keith H. Borjon is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench in 2014 by former governor Jerry Brown. He filled the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Charles W. McCoy (Ret.).
He is a registered Democrat.
Judge Borjon received his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
Borjon served as a clerk and an attorney for Westside Legal Services for one year beginning in 1984.
He joined the California Department of Justice's Office of the Attorney General in 1985, where he started out as a deputy attorney general. Then, in 1990, he became a supervising deputy attorney general for the DOJ. He would remain in that position until his appointment to the Superior Court in 2014.
