Hon. John H. Yoder (Ret.) was the president judge for the McKean County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected to the bench in 2003. Yoder retired in October 2009, after which time, he presided as a senior judge.
He assumed the position of president judge in 2008.
His judicial career also included presiding for twenty-two years as a judge for the McKean County Magisterial District Court.
Yoder received a B.A. from Allegheny College in 1967. He went on to complete a J.D. at Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson Law in 1970.
Prior to joining the judiciary, Yoder spent ten years working as a public defender.
