Biography

The Hon. Jeffrey B. Barton is a judge for the Superior Court of San Diego County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former governor Gray Davis in 2001.

Barton earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego. He then received a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1981.

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Barton worked as a partner for Lewis, D’Amato, Brisbois and Bisgaard as well as Jennings, Engstand, and Henrickson.
