Biography

The Hon. Janice Berg is a judge of the Two Hundred Forty-Seventh Family Court in Harris County, Texas. She assumed the judgeship in 2019, and her term ends in 2022.
Berg earned a B.S. from Columbia University in 2003 and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2008.
She eventually founded her own firm in 2012 and has represented clients in family cases. Berg has appeared at the trial level, the Courts of Appeals, and Texas Supreme Court.
She is a member of the Anti-Defamation Leagues Glass Leadership Institute, Civil Rights Committee, and Associate Board.
She has a dog, who is 13 years old.
Berg is a Democrat.
