Helen Bendix is an Associate Justice of the Second District, Division One of the California Courts of Appeal. She was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown on April 17, 2018. She succeeded Justice Elwood G. Lui, who was elevated to presiding justice. She previously was a judge for the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California.
Bendix received her B.A. from Cornell University and her J.D. from Yale Law School.
