Biography

The Hon. H. Clay Jacke II is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench in June of 2012 by former governor Jerry Brown.

He is a registered Democrat.

Judge Jacke received his B.S. from Drake University in Iowa. He went on to earn his J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 1982.

Jacke spent his entire legal career in private practice. He became a Calabasas criminal defense attorney in 1983 and remained in that capacity until his appointment to the Superior Court in 2012.

His alma mater, Southwestern Law School, recognized him at their 29th Annual Alumni Gala where he received the 2018 Oustanding Judicial Officer of the Year Award.
