The Hon. George J. Abdallah, Jr. is a judge for the San Joaquin County Superior Court in California. He was originally appointed to serve on the San Joaquin County Municipal Court in 1995 and was subsequently elevated to the Superior Court in 1998.
Judge Abdallah received his B.A. from the University of California. He went on to earn his J.D. from Humphreys University Drivon School of Law.
Prior to his appointment to the Municipal Court, Abdallah had served as a court commissioner for both the San Joaquin County Municipal and Superior Courts since 1987.
While on the bench, Judge Abdallah served as a Presiding Judge of the Court and a Presiding Judge of the Appellate Division. Judge Abdallah also served as a supervisor of the civil and criminal grand juries.
He was appointed by the California Supreme Court in 2009 to serve as a member of the Committee on Judicial Ethics Opinions (CJEO). While a member, Judge Abdallah served as a chair of the CJEO's education and planning committee.
Judge Abdallah also served on the Commission on Judicial Performance's Supreme Court Advisory Committee on the Code of Judicial Ethics.
Some of his memberships have included the Manteca District Ambulance, the Rotary International, the San Joaquin County Immunization Program Committee, and the Manteca CAPS.
He has taught as an adjunct professor at his alma mater the Humphreys University Drivon School of Law and as an instructor for the Center for Judicial Education and Research.
