The Hon. Elizabeth L. DiSanto is a judge for the 27th District Court of Michigan. She was elected to the bench on November 6, 2018.
The 27th District includes the Cities of Wyandotte and Riverview.
Prior to her election, DiSanto was a sole practitioner in her own private practice in Wyandotte and sat as a magistrate for the 27th District Court, where she heard felony and misdemeanor arraignments, ordinance violations, civil infractions, and small claims matters.
DiSanto earned a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2002.
Her memberships include the Michigan Association of District Court Magistrates, the Downriver Bar Association, the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Southern Wayne County Reginal Chamber of Commerce.
Her other memberships have included the Wyandotte Rotary Club (past president), the Trenton-Riverview Fraternal Order of Police Lodge, the Wyandotte Figure Skating Club (board member), and the Wyandotte Warriors Hockey Association.
DiSanto has also been involved with the Henry Ford Health System Regional Advisory Board and the Wyandotte Public Schools Scholarship Foundation Board.
When not presiding over legal proceedings, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. DiSanto also watches and plays various sports.
The family attends St. Vincent Pallotti Parish in Wyandotte.
