The Hon. Dwight W. Moore is a judge for the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on October 3, 2007, filling a new position created by SB 56.
Moore earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego. He then continued his studies at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he completed a J.D.
He began his legal career in 1975. He first worked as an associate at Beard, Krinsky and Idler. Two years later, he moved to Thistle, Krinsky, Idler and Lambert, where he was an attorney for the next four years. Then, in 1981, he left the private sector. He accepted a position with the Office of the District Attorney of San Bernardino County. He entered as a deputy district attorney, eventually becoming a supervising deputy district attorney in 1989.
Moore is registered as a Republican.
