The Hon. Donald T. McSpadden is a judge for the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Arkansas. He was elected to the bench on March 1, 2016.
The 16th Judicial Circuit includes Cleburne County, Fulton County, Independence County, Izard County, and Stone County.
Prior to his election, McSpadden was the prosecuting attorney for the 16th Judicial District, a position to which he was named in 1998. Before that, he spent time as an attorney in private practice.
McSpadden earned a J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law. After graduating from law school, he began his legal career as the city attorney for the City of Batesville. He served in that capacity until 1986, at which time he began his first stint as the prosecuting attorney for the 16th Judicial District.
Born and raised in Batesville, Arkansas, McSpadden has three children.
