The Hon. Delbert W. Oros is a judge for the Sacramento County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench in 2007 by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
He is a registered Republican.
Judge Oros received his bachelor's degree from Arizona State University. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Oros' legal career includes serving as a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Seattle Field Office and the Tacoma Resident Agency, and as a deputy district attorney for the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office, where he worked for 10 years, beginning in 1996.
He also worked in the private sector for the law firms of Hefner, Stark, and Marois, where he practiced for eight years, and Wagner and Oros for five years.
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Oros had served as a court commissioner for the Sacramento County Superior Court since 2006.
While on the bench, Judge Oros has presided over a trial, appellate panel, and criminal writs calendar. He also served as the supervising judge for traffic, small claims, and unlawful detainer cases at the Carol Miller Justice Center.
