Biography

The Hon. David W. Thorn is a judge for the Cochise County Superior Court in Arizona. He was elected to the bench in 2018, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Wallace Hoggatt.

Prior to his election, Thorn spent twenty years as an attorney in Cochise County. During this time, he worked as a civil attorney, a criminal defense attorney, and a prosecutor.

Thorn earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies from Arizona State University in 1994. He then completed a J.D. at Gonzaga University School of Law in 1998.
