Judge Danielle L. Hartman: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

The Hon. Danielle L. Hartman is a judge for the Queens County Criminal Court in the Eleventh Judicial District of New York. She was appointed to the Criminal Court bench by Mayor Bill de Blasio in 2017.

Judge Hartman received her bachelor’s degree from Emory University. She also holds a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School.

Prior to joining the bench, Hartman worked as a principal court attorney to the Administrative Judge of the Queens County Supreme Court, Criminal Term. Her legal career also includes serving as an assistant district attorney with the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, where her assignments included its Domestic Violence, Narcotics, and Appeals Bureaus.
