The Hon. Christopher B. Marshall is a judge for the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2009, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Joan Borba.
Marshall earned a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. He then completed a J.D. from Loyola Law School.
He began his legal career as a law clerk for Justice Clarke Stephens of the California Second District Court of Appeal. Then, in 1982, he joined Bonne Jones, where he practiced as an associate for three years. He left the firm in 1985, accepting a position as in-house counsel for Mullikin Medical Centers and Pioneer Hospital. He then joined Bonne, Bridges, Mueller, O’Keefe & Nichols as an associate in 1988.
Marshall left the private sector in 2007 when he began serving as deputy county counsel for the Office of County Counsel of San Bernardino County.
He was a resident of South Pasadena at the time of his appointment.
Marshall is registered as a Democrat.
