The Hon. Bryan F. Foster is a judge for the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former governor Gray Davis in 2003.
Foster earned a B.S. in history from the University of San Francisco in 1970. He then continued his studies at the University of San Francisco School of Law, completing a J.D. in 1974.
He began his legal career working as an associate at a private law firm in the Bay Area, a firm that was of counsel to the San Francisco Housing Authority. Then, in 1983, he relocated to the Inland Empire, where he continued to work in private practice. Just prior to his appointment to the bench, he was a partner at Foster, Driscoll & Reynolds from 1990 to 2003.
He was a recipient of the Kaufman-Campbell Award from the San Bernardino County Bar Association.
Foster was born and raised in San Francisco, California.
