The Hon. Brian K. Gary is a judge for the 397th District Court in Grayson County, Texas. Gary was appointed to the bench by former Governor Rick Perry in 2008. He was subsequently re-elected in 2010, 2014, and 2018.
Prior to his appointment, Gary worked as an attorney in private practice.
Gary earned a B.B.A. from Angelo State University (1986) and an M.B.A. from Texas Christian University (1988). Then, in 1992, he completed a J.D. at Baylor Law School.
His memberships have included the Grayson County Bar Association, the Sherman Chamber of Commerce, the Gunter Chamber of Commerce, and the Grayson Independent School District Education Foundation.
Garys father, Keith Gary, served as Grayson County Sheriff from 1997 to 2016. There is a bench dedicated to him at the Grayson County Courthouse.
He is registered as a Republican.
