Judge Brian E. Gnage: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

The Hon. Brian Gnage is a judge for the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. He was appointed to the seat by Governor Ron DeSantis in January 2022, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of the Hon. Linda R. Allan (Ret.).

The 6th Judicial Circuit encompasses Pasco County and Pinellas County.

Prior to his appointment, Gnage presided as a judge for the Pinellas County Court, a position to which he was named by DeSantis in 2020. Before that, he spent ten years as an assistant state attorney with the Office of the State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit (2011 to 2021).

Gnage received a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. He went on to complete a J.D. at Stetson University College of Law in 2010. He was admitted to practice in Florida in 2011.

He was a resident of Pinellas Park, Florida, at the time of his appointment.
