Judge Brett Allen Hall - Professional Background & Legal Expertise

Biography

The Hon. Brett Allen Hall is a judge of the 382nd District Court of Texas in Rockwall County. He was elected to the bench in 2000 and re-elected in 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016.

Prior to his election, Hall worked as an attorney in private practice, specializing in divorce, family, and personal injury law.

Hall earned a B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1974. He then completed a J.D. at Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law in 1978.

His memberships have included the First United Methodist Church of Rockwall and the Rockwall Rotary Club. He also served as president of the Rockwall Bar Association, and he is a graduate of the Texas College for Judicial Studies.

Hall is a registered Republican.
