The Hon. Ann Marie M. Wheatcraft is a judge for the Chester County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. She was elected to the bench on November 8, 2011.
Prior to her election, Wheatcraft served as an assistant district attorney in the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, a position to which she was named in 2000. Before that, she worked as an attorney in private practice.
Wheatcraft earned a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University. She then completed a J.D. at the University of New Hampshire, Franklin Pierce School of Law.
During her election campaign, Wheatcraft received endorsements from the Pennsylvania State Police (Lodge 66), the Chester County Fraternal Order of Police (Lodge 11), and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Sheriff’s Caucus.
Wheatcraft was raised in Norristown, where she attended Bishop Kenrick High School. When not presiding over legal matters, she has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America and the Avon Grove Wildcats Football League.
She is registered as a Republican.
