Angela DiBiasi is a court attorney referee for the Westchester County Supreme Court in the Ninth Judicial District of New York. During her tenure in that position, she held assignments in the Civil Litigation-Compliance Part and Settlement Conference Part.
Prior to her appointment as a court attorney referee, DiBiasi was a principal law clerk and court attorney, a position to which she was appointed by a presiding justice of the New York State Supreme Court (Ninth Judicial District).
She completed a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Pace University School of Law.
Her memberships have included the Westchester County Bar Association, the Westchester Women's Bar Association, and the Mid-Hudson Chapter of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York (past president). She has also been a member of several New York State court committees dedicated to promoting gender fairness, equal access to justice, and workplace diversity within the court system, and she has served as a mock trial judge for the American Mock Trial Association.
A legal research author and editor, DiBiasi has published on several legal topics, including "Scientific Proof versus Junk Science: The Court's Role as a Gatekeeper for Admitting Scientific Testimony" (NYSBA Journal) and "Mommy Dearest: Determining Parental Rights and Enforceability of Surrogacy Agreements" (Pace Law Review, NYSBA Journal).
