The Hon. Altus W. Hudson is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench in 2018 by former Governor Jerry Brown. He filled the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. David S. Wesley (Ret.).
He is a registered Democrat.
Judge Hudson received his B.S. from California State University, Long Beach. He went on to earn his J.D. from Southwestern Law School.
Hudson began his legal career as a deputy city attorney at the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office beginning in 1995.
Three years later, Hudson would join the law firm Kidd and Hudson where he started out as an attorney before being named a partner. After thirteen years there, Lewis entered into solo practice in 2011. He would remain in that capacity until his appointment to the Superior Court in 2018.
