   and 171 of the Religious Corporations Law -and-
   §§ 510 and 511 of the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law.


   Upon the Notice of Petition and Verified Petition of the Lakeview Church of Christ, a Religious
   Corporation duly incorporated under Article 8 of the New York Religious Corporations Law, and the
   exhibits appended   thereto and submitted therewith, and the affidavit of counsel for the Petitioner,
   Thaler & Thaler, P.C., Guy K. Krogh, Esq., sworn to on the 15 day of July, 2021, and upon the law and
   all supporting papers and proceedings heretofore had herein,

   Let the Lansing United Methodist Church, the Attorney General of the State of New York, the New
   York State Tax Commissioner, and any person or entity interested in these proceedings, show cause at
   a Special Term of this Court to be held at the courthouse hereof, at 320 North Tioga Street, Ithaca, NY
   14850, at         AM/PM upon                                        2021 why an order should not be
   entered herein authorizing and approving the following: (i) the transfer of land and all remaining assets
   and personal property of Petitioner to the Lansing United Methodist Church under the New York
   Religious Corporations and Not-for-Profit Corporation Laws; and (ii) dissolving the Petitioner as a
   Religious Corporation of the State of New York, all along with such other or further relief as may be
   just, proper, equitable, and necessary or convenient to carry out the conveyance and dissolution plan
   set forth in the instant Petition.

   Oral argument shall not be required upon the return date of this Order to Show Cause, but upon
    submission of appropriate objections or cause, the Court may order a hearing or argument hereupon.

   Sufficient reason appearing therefor, let service of a copy of this Order, together with the papers upon
   which it was granted, upon the Lansing United Methodist Church, the New York State Tax
    Commission, and the Attorney General’s Office within 10-days hereof be deemed good and sufficient
    service upon such parties.

    Profit Corporation Law § 1104, Petitioner is hereby directed to publish a copy of this order to Show
   Cause at least once weekly, for four consecutive weeks, in the Ithaca Journal prior to the return date of
    this Order to Show Cause, and to file proof of such publication prior to the return hereupon, and let
    the same be deemed proper publication under law, and good and sufficient notice of dissolution under
    law for all purposes upon all persons.
