RE: THE BANK OF NEW YORK v. IKBAL, Index no. 503889/2014
Dear Honorable Dear:
This firm represents the borrower Asad Ikbal, in the above-referenced matter.
Pursuant to the last appearance in front of your Honor on January 16, 2019, there were loss
mitigation discussions/negotiations between the parties. Since that date, this office has attempted
to work out a loan modification with the bank. As recently as March 12, 2019 and after extensive
document exchange with the bank, we reached out to a representative of the bank on numerous
occasions to follow up on the status of our application. We have yet to receive a response from the
bank. In addition, we also followed up on Friday, April 5, 2019.
It isthree months since the last court date in front of your Honor. As a result, per our last
appearance, we are now respectfully requesting that the Court put this case on for a
conference(s).

time.
