The Hon. Aaron Hubbard is a judge for the Pinellas County Court in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Ron DeSantis in 2022, filling the vacancy created by the elevation of the Hon. Brain Gnage to the 6th Judicial Circuit Court.
Hubbard has presided over the Circuit Community Violence Division.
Prior to his appointment, Hubbard worked as an assistant state attorney with the Office of the State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit, a position to which he was named in 2008. During his tenure there, he served as chief of the Felony Division, holding assignments in the Special Victim's Unit and the Traffic Homicide Unit.
He received a B.A. in criminology from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2003. He went on to complete a J.D. at Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, in 2007.
After graduating from law school, Hubbard began his legal career as an attorney in the Garcia Law Group. He worked in that capacity for several months, handling criminal defense, family law, and personal injury cases.
Hubbard was a resident of Largo, Florida, at the time of his appointment.
